Ask phone
Asking for a phone number
The phone number is one of the most important types of information a customer can provide for unique identification and for the ability to re-engage when needed. Asking for a phone number is therefore a special action. Not only due to the fact that it is quite complex to extract a phone number from a sentence, but also because it needs to be stored in the user object: user.phone
.
For this reason there is a special input type on ask for phone numbers. The following example shows its usage in a chat environment.
Chat
The text used in this dialog can be changed at will. Notice that some fields only apply for chat and others apply for voice.

Voice
The voice dialog on phone is slightly different. On phone the user is already calling from a certain number. Therefore the dialog contains a question to use the number the user is calling with.

When the user doesn't want to use the current number, the number can be entered using DTMF (the numbers on the keyboard of the phone) followed by the hash key.
