When you have created your bot you might want your colleagues or customer to work with it.
For instance a website bot might need live support when it is not able to help a visitor. For that purpose you may need your colleagues or employees of your customer to attend the inbox of your bot: so called operators.
Click Admin in the main menu
Click Admin tab (if not already selected)
Click Environment (if not already selected)
Click Invite user
Type the email address of the user you want to invite
Click in the Select role… textbox and
choose a role
press enter
optionally repeat these steps for additional roles
Click Send to send the invite as an email
The following roles are supported.
Role
Description
Operator
Live support operator and inbox access
Content manager
Access to the content management system
Analyst
Access to analytics and CRM (read-only)
Producer
Full access to CRM, CMS and analytics
Environment manager
Manage environment and users
Developer
Bot development and configuration
The first time you are inviting a Customer to a new environment you want to invite a user with the role of Environment Manager
. This way this user is able to invite his or her colleagues to this environment him or herself. If you want this user to also be able to man the live chat, please make sure to select the Operator
role too. See "invite user" screenshot above.
When you have send the invite you can manage the invite under the User Management section.
You can decide to invite another user by clicking on the "Invite User" button.
In the last column of the user table you see three little icons:
The clipboard icon copies the invitation link to the clipboard so you can (re)send the invitation using another channel, like for instance teams. This is particularly helpful when, for some reason, this user didn't receive the invitation email.
The person-arrow icon enables you to "impersonate" this user's role so you can see how this user will see the studio. This comes in handy when users ask for your help and you want to see what they can see.
The trashcan icon enables you to remove this user and consequently revoking access for this user.
